Job Description
Intellisense Systems Inc. a leading Southern California technology innovator solves missioncritical challenges for aerospace and defense customers. We design develop and manufacture advanced products for ground maritime and airborne applications.
We are seeking aSenior Systems Engineer Electronics to join our growing Tactical Systems Department to support the development of cuttingedge ruggedized military hardware for air land and sea. Our department focuses on tightly integrated compact sensing and computing technologies to deliver mission critical information at the edge. Our products have been deployed and proven across all seven continents in the harshest environments on the planet.
You will play an active handson role in the development of new systems hardware and software designs for products being developed for use in DoD environments. The Senior Systems Engineer will take ownership of electrical requirements analysis activities at the CCA and system level to include requirements generation allocation and tracking throughout the development lifecycle as well as hardware testing and validation. This Senior Systems Engineer will also contribute to and support organizationwide efforts across disciplined teams in electrical mechanical and software technical areas.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and lead systems developments to align with customer requirements and company goals.
- Provide technical leadership to system architecture definition based on the required functionality.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define systemlevel interfaces performance parameters and integration points.
- Develop and execute test plans procedures and automated test scripts to validate system functionality and performance.
- Support system verification validation and qualification in laboratory and field environments.
- Interface frequently with customers technical management and crossdisciplinary engineers to resolve technical issues while optimally balancing cost schedule and technical design integrity.
- Create technical documentation including system design documents user manuals and test reports.
- Ensure compliance with applicable defense and software engineering standards (e.g. MILSTD498 DO178C).
- Train junior Systems Engineers in generating key deliverables to further develop the inhouse knowledge base.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 58 years of experience in an electrical design and/or systems engineering role.
- Outstanding analytical problem solving planning and abstract thinking skills
- Ability to work independently to formulate systems engineering work products and integrating complex hardware/software systems (preferably).
- Handson experience in systems engineering product life cycle development activities.
- Handson experience with qualification testing per MIL Standards (MILSTDthat covers the expected military customer use environment and operational conditions.
In Addition The Followings Are Significant Pluses:
- M.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Handson experience with hardware validation and qualification testing and troubleshooting.
- Experience with MOSA SOSA and/or GCIA standards.
- Experience with specialized interface protocols including MILSTD1553 and CAN bus.
- Strong knowledge and experience with SAE ARP4761 MILSTD882E Joint Software System Safety Handbook (JSSSEH) DO178B/C MILHDBK516C DO254 SAE ARP4754A and/or AOP52.
- Ability to adapt to fast moving environments with evolving deadlines and communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
- Experience using DOORS is a plus.
