Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Whitby
Salary: Up to 500 per week
Contract: Fulltime and parttime opportunities available
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Whitby. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting childrens learning and development in a classroom setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and structured lessons
- Support students with their learning providing onetoone and small group assistance where needed
- Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
- Assist with preparing learning materials and classroom resources
- Provide additional support for pupils with special educational needs if required
Requirements:
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable but not essential
- A patient supportive and adaptable approach to working with young learners
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A willingness to undertake training and professional development
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
