The Program

Notre Dame High School has a challenging college preparatory curriculum that integrates classroom learning with downtown educational opportunities in culture science and technology. The school has a diverse student body extensive honors and advanced placement programs and a very talented and dedicated Faculty and Staff.

Responsibilities:

The Director of Teaching and Learning provides vision for academic programming assures high-quality instruction grounded in evolving educational research and mission-aligned college-preparatory student outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Masters degree in Education or a related field
  • Five (5) years of demonstrated success in the classroom
  • Supervisory experience
  • Familiarity with current education research and best practices in education
  • Experience leading training and major initiatives related to curriculum pedagogy and student experience - preferably at a high school level
  • A collaborative cooperative and growth-oriented mindset
  • Immersion in diversity work both in training and in implementation and a commitment to fostering culturally competent and inclusive classrooms

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Catholic education and school settings
  • Experience with womens institutions or organizations

Terms of Employment:

  • 2025-26 academic year
  • Annual renewable contract
