Antai Ventures is a Barcelonabased venture studio with presence across Southern Europe and LatAm. We partnerup and invest in the best cofounders to build global companies willing to disrupt multibillion dollar industries. Since 2012 we have cofounded 30 companies including Glovo Wallapop PlatanoMelon and Piper. Our ventures have raised more than $1.5B in funding have generated more than $3B in shareholders value and currently employ more than 3000 people.
We are now looking for the founders of our next venture in the Travel & Tourism space. As a founder youll be in the driving seat launching and leading your company. Well invest in you and be your cofounding partners equipping you with strategic financial and operational support in all the key areas (Product Tech Legal Finance Business Development Fundraising and Talent) to quickly go from 0 to 1.
As a CoFounder & CEO you will be responsible for:
Designing commercial product and growth strategies
Building leading and motivating a strong team
Overseeing all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission
Analyzing problematic situations and occurrences and providing solutions to ensure company survival and growth
Reviewing financial and nonfinancial results to devise solutions or improvements
Maintaining deep knowledge of the market and industry of the company
Building trust with key partners and stakeholders
Presenting the Companys vision roadmap and results to shareholders and potential investors
Requirements:
Proven track record in taking things from 0 to 1 and getting your hands dirty
5 years of experience in startups/scaleups having previously held a management position
Bonus: previous experience in the Travel or Tourism industry
Excellent communication and public speaking skills in English and Spanish
Proved entrepreneurial and analytical mindset in finding solutions to complex problems with limited resources
Being comfortable in a fastpaced environment with a high degree of uncertainty
