What you will contribute to the organization:
Â.
Prepare federal and state income tax returns, estimates, and extensions
Â.
Work closely with manager to prepare the quarterly and year-end tax provisions
Â.
Conduct tax research on federal and state/local income tax issues
Â.
Assist with responding to various tax authority requests and audits
Â.
Implement system and process improvements
Â.
Maintain current knowledge on the tax legislative updates and other tax law changes
Â.
Work on special tax projects involving tax analysis of mergers and acquisitions
Requirements
What Qualifications you need to be successful:
Â.
Bachelorâs degree in Finance and/or Accounting required
Â.
Masterâs degree and active CPA preferred
Â.
Minimum of 2 years of federal and state income tax experience
Â.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)
Â.
Experience with OneSource Income Tax or Oracle preferred
Â.
High attention to detail and accuracy, as well as strong organizational and time management skills
