Sr. Android Engineer - OPEN TO REMOTE

As a Sr. Android Engineer, you’ll conceptualize and formulate apps that are suitable for use on all types of Android devices. You’ll also work on Implementing measures to safeguard users data.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that the construction and presentation of your apps are congruent with the companys standards
• Proofread your code and correct mistakes before each app is released.
• Collaborate with UI and UX Designers, as well as Software Testers, to ensure that each app is presentable and in perfect working order.
• Liaise with the marketing department to ensure consistency in our companys voice across the board.
• Monitor app reviews to detect areas for improvement.
• Create app updates, including bug fixes and additional features for release.

Requirements

• BS / BA degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of education or experience
• At least 3 years of native Android development, with experience building and deploying apps to the Play store
• Comprehensive knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android and how to deal with different screen sizes
• Advanced Java for Android and Kotlin programming experience
• Architectural design experience with MVP, MVC, MVVM
• Experience with calling back-end services via RESTful and GraphQL APIs from Android
