Job Description

We are currently hiring anAccounting/Bookkeepingposition for an area Beaumont company. In this position you will be responsible forallAccounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bookkeeping, Reporting, Reconciling, and other administrative functions.

Your duties will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Prepare journal entries and post to the general ledger, administer and process accounts payable, & produce various accounting and financial reports.
  • Compile cost reports, revenue, and balance sheets.
  • Maintain assigned bank reconciliations and monitor credit card charges daily.
  • Maintain accurate month-end, quarter-end and year-end accounting close cycles and development of subsequent internal and external financial statements, required regulatory reporting forms and tax filings.
  • Pay outstanding invoices and other amounts due.
  • Reconcile monthly bank statements for multiple accounts.
  • Communicate with vendors and customers regarding billing discrepancies, making adjustments as needed.
  • Create weekly sales and performance reports and conduct ongoing analysis.
  • Create spreadsheets and reports to support operations and management.
  • Analyze business performance and prepare reports.
