Scrum Master - remote

Job Description

• Sprint planning and story point estimating that is accurate and useful
• Initiate and own scrum events for participating squads.
• Lead the efforts of developing Scaled Agile management best practices.
• Facilitate daily Scrum meetings and regular ceremonies.
• Plan upcoming sprints for a given project, including helping the team to reach a consensus for what can be achieved during the sprint.
• Monitor and report on sprints that are in progress.
• Communicate closely with delivery managers for alignment and planning updates.
• Collect and analyze related metrics for trends and indicators, facilitate iteration/increment planning,
• provide Agile coaching and mentoring at all levels within the organization.
• Works with the leadership team to strategically improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Agile processes

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3+ years experience as a Scrum Master.
• Hands-on experience in Scrum & Kanban methodologies
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) with experience in implementing any of scaled agile models.
• Ability to train and present demos for all teams about Agile.
• Solid understanding of the Agile Software Development Lifecycle
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize, plan and resolve conflicts and escalations based on the project requirements.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent ability to track multiple development efforts simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Facilitate and build team consensus.
• The ability to identify and eliminate roadblocks that team members may encounter during a sprint.
• Very good command of English (spoken and written)
