Remote Full Stack Back-end-heavy Developer (Golang, Linux Kernel, and Kubernetes)

Only candidates with 3+ years of overall software development experience are eligible for this role.

Turing.com is looking for a Full Stack Back-end-heavy Developer on behalf of an emerging company that is building tools to transform how applications run on Kubernetes. The developer will be working on a Linux distribution rewritten from scratch in Go to support Kubernetes and distributed systems. The company’s advanced technology is utilized by large enterprises, and it offers immutability, reduced attack surface, and API-based management. The company has managed to raise more than $3mn during their Seed round of funding. This will be a long-term, full-time position that requires some 2+ hours overlap with the PST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design relevant solutions to improve performance and existing features

• Optimize the platform for faster execution and solve scalability issues

• Fix bugs and provide feedback on coding related problems

• Work closely with passionate experts to develop the required software solutions

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)

• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack or back-end developer

• Prolific experience with Golang

• Nice to have some Linux Kernel experience

• Prior Kubernetes experience is desirable

• Solid understanding and experience with Security-aware coding

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
