You will Head the entire local direct farmers and cucoon sourcing initiatives. This includes various cocoon types and build a sustainable and scalable sourcing network.

Responsibilities will include:

  • We are looking for Sourcing Head to own and build a pipeline for local sourcing products.

  • You will explore new clusters for around the year supply at competitive market prices.

  • Bring new farmers on board and build relationships

  • Brings new Sales lead & Strategic approach to Scale Profit., Drive Captive Sales & Maximization of no of Reelers Outreach during Sales

  • Profitable Selling & Targets, Achieve the Number in a given time.

  • Candidate should have good Interpersonal skills and resolve the customer issue and Connect with customer support if they need.

  • Candidate should have Team Handling experience.

  • We at reshamandi believe to give Technology ecosystem to the Indian silk market for that we want candidate should be Technology Driven

  • Generate Market Generating Leads and doing Conversions, Quality Control and Ensuring Timely Advisory.

  • Support junior sales executives and motivate them

  • Building a good reputation and customer value to the local customers and farmers

  • Adding new reelers, into our Application & Try to convince them for Online Payments, for frequent and better process

  • Candidates should have a good knowledge in the Quality control side & procurement side.

  • Has a good knowledge of local slik market, and market growth too

  • Good experience in Market collection too.

  • You will also hire, train and develop a high-performance sourcing

  • team to set clear goals, incentive structure and targets and drive them effectively.

  • Ensure Profitability, Strategic Quality

  • Procurement and Tgt Vs. Achv, Quality Control, Customer Building & Satisfaction,

Core skill sets ideally include, but are also not limited to:

  • We are looking for 0-6 years of experience in working on fields with farmers in south India, specifically Salem belt.

  • Extensive knowledge of sericulture, cocoons , costing and negotiations.

  • You must possess thorough knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint, MS Access is desirable.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a strong commitment to improving things every day.

  • Excellent eye for detail, able to deep dive and good problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to make decision-based on sound logical arguments.

  • Ideal candidate should has a good Geographical knowledge

  • Should has a good team handling experience and good motivational skills

  • Self-starter/multi-tasker,confident, resourceful with good presentation

Preferences:

  • Experience and good network in the textile and retail garments segment.

  • Good understanding of regional supply sources for silk yarns.

  • Experience with hiring at Rural Locations within India.

  • Experience in working with a high growth startup.
