Cargo Space Control and Revenue Manager

Job Purpose

To overlook and ensure that QR Standards and Procedures are implemented in order to achieve over all goals. Plan, supervise and support the staff in order to provide quality customer service and surpass revenue targets. Optimization of all flights ex-Region and maximize Load Factors (LF) and revenue.

Role Accountabilities

• Plan, direct and Control all Space Control and Yield/Revenue activities of all shared flights within the regions.
• Prepare Business Plan in order to optimize revenue and Load Factor opportunities on all outbound passenger, pax freighter and freighter flights ex Region.
• Maintain regular contact with GSAs in all respective regions in order to be able to deliver and request optimization of flights ex Region.
• Organize regular meetings with stakeholders in DOH and respective regions in order to further dialogue strategy and opportunities.
• Prepare Space Control-staff roster to ensure proper distribution of manpower on weekly basis to ensure proper coverage.
• Brief staff on a day-to-day basis and keep them updated with relevant changes in the industry and QR products/services.
• Support Sales/GSA’s to keep systems updated with operational information.
• Support Stations on Network, route management and charters request to follow up with relevant dept.
• Support Stations on Network business case on network changes (additional flights/charters/changes of aircraft/cancellation).
• Tight yield and revenue control and further development in achieving higher yields/revenues, shipment contribution and pallet contribution.
• Monitoring the correct use of capacities and allocations.
• Ensuring uplift of fixed allocations on flights.
• Main point of contact for HO-staff in case of Space / Revenue Control / Route management / Revenue Management / HUB related-issues in all the respective regions.
• Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
• Establish the department or teams objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives.
• Regularly evaluate the department or teams objectives, plans, procedures and practices, and makes appropriate changes if needed.

Qualifications

• Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor's level
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Cargo Operations (capacity-control field)
• IATA Recognized Dangerous Goods.
• Leadership Skills

• Load Control of all types of Aircrafts.
• Able to use MS Office.
• Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
