Job Description
The IT Operations Professional should provide all the necessary assistance to the cloud servers, including security configurations, patching, and troubleshooting. The personnel also help to maintain system security strategies, policies, and procedures and works with the VP of IT< Director of Security and DevOps lead to ensure these strategies and procedures are executed properly.
IT Operations Professional position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Configure and fine-tune cloud infrastructure systems
- Install and configure virtual cloud servers / VNETs / VPC / Security Groups etc as needed
- Support cloud servers including security configurations, patching, and troubleshooting.
- Develop scripts for automating client/server functions
- Monitor automated systems recovery solutions
- Monitor backups and develop solid backup strategies
