Group Chief Accountant

Job Description

• Oversee, handle full spectrum of financial and cost accounting role eg. AR, AP, GL, forecasting, budgeting, etc
• Responsible for the preparation of financial statements, forecasts, annual budgets, and business activity reports required by Management
• Process accounting transactions following local and International Accounting Standards (IFRS)
• Prepare general ledger reconciliations following group policy (actively monitor accounts, identify and resolve outstanding accounting issues).
• supervise and coordinate with entities’ subsidiary accountant for Preparation of monthly reports, and monthly and year-end closing.
• Prepare the company’s Monthly, quarterly and year-end closing consolidation including the consolidating balance sheet, statement of income and statement of cash flows under IFRS Standers.
• In charge of inter-company transactions and reconciliation and Prepares monthly elimination, adjusting and recurring journal entries
• Perform complex balance sheet account reconciliations, including Investment in Subsidiaries transaction.
• Lead and conduct the consolidation process for companies. monthly and quarterly close
• Perform project cost forecasts/budgets, cost tracking, monitoring and controls.
• Communicate with internal and external Audit requirement for Holding Company and Subsiders
• Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe
• ensuring that intercompany cost allocations are in line with management agreements and transfer pricing policy
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports required by Management.
• Other financial management duties assigned by the CFO
  

Job Requirements

• At least 5+ years of relevant experience in financial statements, intercompany transaction, And consolidation as per IFRS.
• Proven working experience as Senior or Chief Accountant Preferred in a multinational company
  or worked as an External auditor with one of the big accounting firms
• Preferred Experience and knowledge of Saudi Arabia regulations with respect to Accounts, and taxation
• Fully Knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
• Must possess Very good command of English language skills, verbal, written, reading.
• Ability to lead and supervise the Subsidiaries accounting team
• Knowledge of VAT and Tax (KSA, UAE, and EGP)
• Highly responsible and reliable with exceptional attention to detail
• Perfect knowledge of MS Office applications especially Excel
