You will be updated with latest job alerts via email• Coordinates the activities of the assigned Fleet Group to ensure the Company s chartered LNG fleet provides safe, reliable and efficient transportation of LNG.
Reporting
• Reports to Head of Fleet Team.
Minimum Requirements
• Class 1 Master Mariner Certificate of Competency or a bachelor's degree in Shipping studies complemented by relevant seagoing experience at a senior level of responsibility, preferably as Master on LNG / LPG or oil tankers
OR
• 1st Class Marine Engineer Certificate of Competency or an appropriate Marine Engineering Degree complemented by relevant seagoing experience at a senior level, preferably as Chief Engineer
• 8 years' experience in oil/gas marine operations/transportation.
• Knowledgeable of vessel operations, principles of navigation and related systems, technical aspects of vessel repairs and technical operation.
• Knowledgeable in LNG marine loading utilities, facilities and berth requirements.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of SHE standards and requirements as they relate to the oil/gas/shipping industries and the marine environment.
• Good insight of LNG Time Charter Party requirements and obligations of both Charterer and Owners
• Good planning and time management skills to meet challenging project deadlines
• Ability to analyze and identify vessel performance related problems on assigned LNG vessels.
• Proficient written and spoken English with good skills in technical report writing.
• Competent in the use of databases and spreadsheets.
• Inter-cultural skills with understanding of the business practices and protocols of different cultures.
Full Time
