About the Job
- Triage, review and troubleshoot network and PC issues
- Demonstrate practical knowledge and experience with Server, Desktop, LAN, and WAN technologies. Should have multiple skill sets in many of the following.
- Responsible for Disaster Recovery testing and restoration of critical services during DR events
- Research, develop, and implement new technologies and practices.
- Audit and monitor the health and availability of systems.
- Provide systems and services expertise and drive operational best practices.
- Primary support of Exchange 2013
- Supporting large Virtualization environments (vCenter, vSpehre, ESXi, Hyper-v)
- Familiar with Microsoft Lync administration
- Administering custom web applications
- Monitoring and responding to trouble tickets.
- Troubleshoot virtualization issues; working with other members of the network, storage, etc. as needed.
- Monitor processing jobs and application alerts and triggers.
- Design and develop highly complex, integrated solutions to meet business requirements or enhance performance.
- Review and analyze Servers change requests and provide relevant feedback
Job Requirements
- From 1-3 years of experience in the same role and preferable in an industrial environment
- Bachelor Degree in Information System or related
- Post-graduate certificates in System admin or network is an asset
- Excellent Troubleshooting and Analytical skills.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2003/2008/2012 operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of other technologies networking, WINS, DNS, database, etc.
