Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detailoriented Sr. / Lead Data Quality Engineer to join our clients team. You are a problem solver with a passion for ensuring data integrity. You enjoy diving into data to identify patterns anomalies and opportunities for improvement. Your insights and solutions empower business leaders with reliable data for critical decisionmaking. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ensuring data accuracy reliability and consistency while effectively collaborating with stakeholders to meet business needs.


Locations: California Florida New Jersey New York

Responsibilites:
  • Design and implement Data Quality (DQ) checks and rules to ensure accuracy and consistency.

  • Perform data profiling to analyse data sources identify anomalies and understand historical trends.

  • Monitor and validate Data Quality results track trends and identify spikes or drops in key metrics (KPIs).

  • Define and maintain thresholds for detecting and flagging anomalies in KPIs.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to:

    • Understand and translate explicit and implicit requirements into actionable data quality measures.

    • Propose process improvements to enhance data accuracy and governance.



Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in data quality engineering data analysis or related fields.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with business leaders and technical teams.
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with crossfunctional teams.
Required Skills & Expertise:
  • Proficiency in SQL querying for data analysis and quality checks.
  • Strong programming skills in Python for data manipulation and automation.
  • Handson experience with Spark and Snowflake for data processing and storage.
  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to identify data issues and propose solutions.

Preferred Skills (NicetoHave):

  • Familiarity with Airflow for workflow orchestration.
  • Knowledge of Looker or similar BI tools for data visualization.



minimum 4 years experience in Data Quality, Data Profiling, sql, data analysis, Python and Snowflake
