JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced Storage Engineer with a strong background in NetApp and Isilon storage solutions along with extensive experience in Python for automation and scripting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing implementing managing and optimizing enterprise storage solutions while leveraging Python for automation and operational efficiency.
Design deploy and manage NetApp and Isilon storage solutions to ensure high availability and performance.
Perform storage provisioning replication snapshots backup and disaster recovery.
Optimize storage infrastructure to improve performance scalability and reliability.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python to streamline storage management monitoring and reporting.
Work on integration of storage solutions with cloud and hybrid environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve storagerelated issues ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including DevOps infrastructure and security to align storage solutions with business objectives.
Maintain detailed documentation of storage architectures configurations and automation scripts.
Stay uptodate with industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in storage and automation.
10 years of experience in enterprise storage solutions with a focus on NetApp and Isilon.
Handson experience with NetApp ONTAP Clustered Data ONTAP SnapMirror SnapVault and CIFS/NFS protocols.
Strong expertise in Dell EMC Isilon administration SmartConnect and SyncIQ.
Proficiency in Python scripting for automation orchestration and storage management.
Experience with RESTful APIs Ansible and other automation frameworks.
Strong understanding of storage networking SAN/NAS architectures RAID levels and data protection strategies.
Experience in cloudbased storage solutions (AWS Azure GCP) and hybrid cloud integrations.
Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
