Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Location: Remote (Candidates from South Africa preferred)

Salary: $USD per month pending comm structure

Working Hours: Fulltime 40 hours per week) ET Mo FR 9Am 5PM occasional weekend work to plot week

Role Overview: We are seeking a proactive and detailoriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in email campaigns investor relations customer support inbox management and virtual assistance. This role is pivotal in generating new business opportunities managing communications and supporting various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Outreach:
    • Identify potential clients and investors through research and networking.
    • Develop and execute targeted email campaigns to engage prospects.
    • Manage and monitor responses ensuring timely followups.
  • Investor Relations Support:
    • Assist in maintaining relationships with existing investors and stakeholders.
    • Prepare and distribute regular updates reports and communications.
    • Coordinate meetings and manage investor inquiries.
  • Customer Support & Inbox Management:
    • Monitor and manage company inboxes ensuring prompt and professional responses.
    • Filter and prioritize emails flagging important communications.
    • Address client inquiries and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Virtual Assistance:
    • Provide administrative support including scheduling data entry and document preparation.
    • Assist in organizing virtual events webinars and meetings.
    • Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate information.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • Proven experience as an SDR virtual assistant or in a similar role.
    • Background in investor relations or customer support is advantageous.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong organizational and timemanagement abilities.
    • Proficiency in email marketing platforms and CRM software.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
    • Experience with virtual communication tools (e.g. Zoom Slack).
    • Understanding of email campaign analytics and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the financial services or capital matchmaking industry.
  • Knowledge of investor relations practices and protocols.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting and adapt to different time zones.
