You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe HR Advisor (Generalist) provides employees and leaders with day to day HR support. The HR Generalist manages all HR processes for the site in Norway in collaboration with site leadership and the HR manager. The role provides guidance and consultative support promoting our digital toolset for employees and managers driving positive employee experience and relations. This includes compliance of global and local processes interpretation of policies and procedures and counseling managers and employees.
This role will be reporting directly to the HR Manager Norway who is responsible for strategic leadership and partnering for the business unit.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Critical:
Identify and lead opportunities to standardise work to drive efficiency effectiveness and experience across BUs and countries with EMEA
Drive digital adoption and timely case handling in ad.a
Have the overall responsibility for salary payout and corrections. Be the main contact person for our payroll department
Be a contact point for our employees regarding overall questions
Be responsible for our trainee provide training and follow up.
DEI Champion initiate and lead activities
Take full responsibility for our social committee group and lead ongoing activities on site.
Work together with HR Manager to facilitate longterm HR initiatives aligned with the local and global strategic agenda
Recommend and implement employee communication strategies plans policies and guidelines in accordance with companys HR Strategies in order to sustain companys culture and enhance employees engagement
Administer employee related processes including employee training performance appraisals promotions hirings and terminations
Proactively manage employee data in applicable HR systems and provide accurate HR data for analysis as required
Lead specific projects as determined in the annual HR plan and participate in functional and crossfunctional initiatives
Improve HR effectiveness and internal customer satisfaction by driving continuous improvement activities
Provide proactive coaching consultation and direction to management in areas of performance management training and development compensation and overall organizational effectiveness
Counsel and advise employees and the leadership team regarding people policies industrial relations labor law regulations workforce organization and employee issues
Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource policies
Act as a team role model
Model and promote the Corporations Code of Business Ethics and Values.
Function as a support for our compliance ambassadors and follow up regarding questions
Qualifications :
Bachelors Degree or equivalent major in Human Resources Business or related field preferred
Work experience in HR functions preferably with experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of employee relations and legal issues
Strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management
Peopleoriented and good customerfocused mindset
Fluent oral and written English
Able to influence and resolve controversial highimpact human resources issues
Willingness to take on what needs to be done innovative problemsolver
Project management skills
Experience in coordinating planning and deploying HR programs and initiatives
Practical knowledge in common computer software
