Job Description

Your role as People Experience Advisor 5 month FTC

  • Improved Communication: foster open and transparent communication between line managers and their team members.
  • Increased Team Member Engagement: enhance team member morale and commitment through positive workplace relations.
  • Conflict Resolution: Implement effective strategies to resolve conflicts amicably and maintain harmony in the workplace.
  • Team Member Retention: reduce turnover rates by addressing employee concerns and fostering a supportive work atmosphere.
  • Compliance with Regulations: ensure adherence to policy and employment law avoiding legal issues.
  • Positive Work Culture: develop a positive inclusive and respectful workplace culture.
  • Trust Building: Strengthen trust between line managers and their team through consistent and fair practices.

What youll bring 

  • Experience of the Retail or Hospitality sectors and a good understanding of employee relations preferable.
  • Knowledge of Data Protection GDPR and PECR legislation
  • Microsoft Office IT skills including Microsoft word PowerPoint Excel and TEAMS
  • Customer shows empathy and understands the customers needs holds them in the heart of everything they do.
  • Communication skills ability to have difficult conversations including conflict resolution experience
  • Strong people skills leads by example able to support development of the People Advisor team
  • Holds strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills able to analyse and find effective solutions.
  • Focuses on improvement looks for opportunities without introducing risk.
  • Able to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Good attention to detail ensuring accuracy when communicating to your customer.
  • Discreet handle sensitive information with care and maintain confidentiality.
  • A team contributor able to adapt and adjust to changes in different situations and customer needs.
  • Good at prioritisation manages own workload taking accountability and responsibility for completion.
  • Able to deputise in Line Managers absence.

Qualifications :

  • Qualified or actively studying towards CIPD Level 3 although not essential as training can be provided
  • GSCE English and Maths required
  • MHFA Trained / willingness to be trained
