Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team fulltime at Glenridge. This role is open to both new graduates and experienced OTs with the potential for seasoned professionals to step into a Team Lead position.
As a Team Lead youll have the opportunity to mentor therapists shape therapy programs and contribute to policy development while still providing handson patient care. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients ability to perform daily living activities and develop individualized therapy plans.
- Implement evidencebased treatment interventions to promote independence and recovery.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physical therapists speech therapists and nursing staff.
- Educate patients families and caregivers on therapy strategies and adaptive equipment.
- Monitor and document patient progress adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- For Team Lead Candidates Mentor and guide staff assist with program development and contribute to policy improvements.
Qualifications:
- Maine State Occupational Therapy License (Required)
- National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification (Preferred)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification (Preferred)
- Experience in rehabilitation or skilled nursing settings (Preferred)
- Strong leadership problemsolving and patient advocacy skills
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced teamoriented environment
