Job Description

The Sales Executive is responsible for promoting the Hotel and where applicable other properties within the chain in their designated area or region. This role is critical to the success of our organization and requires a high level of professionalism and dedication.

  • Achieve Hotel Budget and Individual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including Room Target Meeting Room Target Average Daily Rate (ADR) and Occupancy (OCC)
  • Conduct strategic visits to former existing and potential clients with the objective of securing contracts with particular emphasis on commercial accounts
  • Analyze and forecast business volume taking into consideration hotel occupancy holidays weather conditions hotel activities and community events
  • Precisely define guest requirements and ensure that offered guest services align effectively with their requests
  • Attain targets by increasing room night production and average room rates as established by the Director of Sales
  • Maintain and update critical information regarding companies contacts profiles and databases in the Anais system (Property Management System)
  • Gather and disseminate comprehensive information about the Hotels competitors to Superiors and team members
  • Provide exemplary aftersales service ensuring all guest complaints are addressed with utmost seriousness and discussed with the respective departments when necessary
  • Engage in price negotiations with clients demonstrating a thorough understanding of market conditions and hotel value propositions
  • Formalize verbal proposals in writing ensuring all terms and conditions are clearly articulated
  • Accomplish personal and sales team goals as assigned contributing to the overall success of the department
  • Maintain consistent and professional contact with all clients in the market area to ensure the highest levels of client satisfaction
  • Conduct thorough site inspections as required showcasing the hotels facilities and services
  • Demonstrate adaptability and willingness to embrace new situations and challenges as they arise contributing to the hotels ability to remain competitive in a dynamic market

Qualifications :

 

  • Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field is mandatory
  • A minimum of 2 years of demonstrable sales experience in a similar capacity is required
  • Proven track record in relationship building and new business acquisition including proficiency in prospecting networking conducting site inspections and executing sales calls
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail are essential
  • Demonstrated commitment to staying informed of industry trends and disseminating critical information to all staff members
  • Exceptional organizational abilities including the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate and support strategic changes in our business operations
  • Unwavering adherence to the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical conduct
  • Exemplary customer service skills are imperative for this role

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Singapore. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining work authorization documents.
