Job Description
Wage: $24/HR
Shift: Days 7 AM start time
Location: Concord ON
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator – Material Handler to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work in a fastpaced environment where you will play a key role in the safe and efficient movement of materials.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform pretrip inspections on propanepowered counterbalance forklifts
- Change propane tanks as needed
- Unload and load flatbed truck deliveries (drywall insulation) from the side using a forklift
- Load pickup trucks and company vehicles with orders
- Lift and move materials 5060 lbs) to position them properly for loading
- Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
Requirements:
- 15 years of material handling experience
- Valid external forklift license (propane counterbalance)
- Experience loading flatbed & pickup trucks
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Must be able to load/unload alone
