Job Description
Senior Azure Data Engineer
We are hiring for two exciting opportunities with our client in the insurance industry supporting highimpact data modernization initiatives. These roles offer the chance to lead the development of scalable cloudbased data pipelines and platforms in a collaborative forwardthinking environment. What is in it for you:
Salaried: $72 to $78 per hour.
Incorporated Business Rate: $87 to $92 per hour.
12month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.
Weekday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.
Hybrid work: 3 office days from Tuesday to Thursday.

Responsibilities:
Design and develop batch and realtime data pipelines and DevOps pipelines using Microsoft Azure data and analytics PaaS services.
Lead agile development processes including roadmap planning task assignments code reviews sprint demos and design approvals.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions collaborating with developers architects and analysts to align with enterprise architecture and standards.
Modernize enterprise data platforms by designing and building data pipelines streams and service APIs using Azure cloud technologies.
Develop and maintain schematics and architectures for relational and nonrelational databases supporting advanced analytics and data access.
Deliver insights to end users via platforms such as Power BI Azure API apps or similar tools.
Mentor team members and foster knowledgesharing across teams and departments.
Recommend and implement architectural enhancements to improve system scalability and resilience.
What you will need to succeed:
Bachelor s degree in computer science computer engineering or a related technical field.
8 10 years of experience in designing and developing data warehouses and ETL solutions.
Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure technologies including Azure Data Factory Azure Databricks Azure Data Lake and Azure SQL Databases.
Handson development using Databricks and PySpark for data engineering tasks.
Proven experience building and automating ETL workflows in Azure.
Strong skills in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
Experience with Power BI or comparable BI visualization platforms.
Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively in a teamoriented environment.
