You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailIn this role your key responsibility will be to maintain and consistently improve all areas of Transport compliance within the Transport department this means ensuring the department is adhering to both legal and company procedural requirements and ensuring that any non compliances are identified fully investigated with remedial action put into place.
You will be required to lead and motivate the Transport Compliance teams across multiple locations to ensure all KPIs are met in assisting the department to function legally and safely whilst maintaining ER accreditation.
Key Tasks/Areas of Responsibility:
Analysing data and trends to proactively identify possible risks within the driver force vehicle maintenance and Transport compliance processes to allow for effective improvements to be implemented
Using the available data and initiative to implement changes in order to reduce the number of compliance issues the department faces and drive compliance
Consistently reviewing Transport Compliance processes to ensure they are compliant with legal and company requirements then amending and/or introducing new processes as required along with any project work required to assist this.
Working closely with all Transport Operational teams the Transport Manager and Departmental Senior Managers to ensure agreed processes and actions are completed as well as communicating any legal or company compliance changes illustrating impacts and presenting proposed actions
Training staff within the Transport department to ensure they have sufficient knowledge to monitor and ensure compliance levels are maintained locally
Managing the Compliance team to ensure that we remain legally compliant whilst regularly reviewing the teams output to implement improvements in processes and drive compliance
Ensuring that Transport Compliance rating audit submissions are investigated and all relevant evidence supplied within timeframes
Challenging current processes with a view to seek improvements and reduction in compliance issues.
Qualifications :
What we are looking for;
You must hold a full International CPC and be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of transport Compliance.
You will have demonstrable experience of managing compliance over multiple locations therefore experience and knowledge of a large transport operation would be preferable
A high standard of computer literacy with a thorough knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
The Ability to analyse interpret data and trends along with the ability to drive change to improve workflows
Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Be able to work successfully using high level of initiative
