Job Summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a proven selfstarted to join its People Operations team as a People Partner Specialist for our Defense Systems Group (DSG). This individual will have exceptional communication skills and will love working in a high volume fastpaced and dynamic environment. We are a growing team and we are looking for a detailoriented individual who has exceptional excel and analytical skills and can multitask.

This role reports to the Defense Systems Groups Strategic People Partner Director (SPP).

Work Model

This position is a hybrid work model of 3 days per week onsite with the balance of the week offering remote flexibility or as business conditions allow.

This position is located at our El Segundo CA campus.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Partner with People Operations leadership to understand business issues and develop solutions to support HR business objectives
  • Manage large sets of complex data and work within Excel to manipulate the data (macros pivots vlook ups etc.
  • Create powerpoint presentations to tell a story and present the data from Excel in an Executive Summary format
  • Deliver products answer questions and manage timelines in a high volume fast paced everchanging environment
  • Assist leaders and employees on interpretation of People Operations policies and procedures
  • Support leaders and employees on peoplerelated matters
  • Assist with developing and implementing People Operations programs and initiatives
  • Update maintain and manage employee and organization information in HRIS (Workday); manage track process and compile sensitive and confidential data
  • Provide assistance on performance management merit planning talent reviews and succession planning

What You Need to be Successful People Partner Specialist III

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in reflated field
  • Five or more years of human resources related experience
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office programs (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook); special emphasis on Excel skills including pivot tables macros VLookups charts etc.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
  • Customercentric aptitude
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Process improvement mindset
  • Ability to function and exercise discretion in a high volume fastpaced environment

  • Advanced degree in related field

  • Prior government or Federally Funded Research & Development Center (FFRDC) environment experience

We offer a competitive compensation package where youll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business. The gradebased pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education experience knowledge and skills.
