Job Description

Toast is driven by building the restaurant platform that helps restaurants adapt take control and get back to what they do best: building the businesses they love. Were seeking a Manager of Sales Compensation Strategy & Operations to work on our GTM strategy and operations team quota compensation based on territory plans across the business which will drive Toasts growth. This role will partner with Sales leadership finance and HR to create a holistic strategy for our GTM organization across verticals.

About thisroll* (Responsibilities)

  • Lead the design of quota setting based on territorybased goals implementation and ongoing optimization of the sales compensation plan and policy
  • Regularly assess the effectiveness of sales compensation plans in driving business goals and performance metrics ensuring alignment with GTM objectives
  • Knowledge of sales compensation plan structures including quotas accelerators pay mix leverage and other components
  • Partner and collaborate crossfunctionally with Finance HR and Sales leaders
  • Work with sales leadership to forecast model and plan for revenue and sales targets ensuring compensation structures support sales goals
  • Analyze sales trends market dynamics and report on performance
  • Analyze monitor and track key performance indicators such as MBOs and attainment by teams

Do you have the right ingredients* (Requirements)

  • 5 years of professional experience across highgrowth tech companies and/or management consulting
  • Expertise in Sales/Incentive Compensation RevOps and/or FP&A functions
  • Skilled in conducting both quantitative and qualitative analyses including customer research data analysis and competitive benchmarking
  • Proficient in analyzing processes identifying opportunities for automation and driving implementation
  • Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across teams translating complex problems into clear actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to turn complex challenges into actionable plans oversee and achieve results
  • Experience with Salesforce and Sales Compensation Software
