Job Description
Position Overview: The Technician will be responsible for maintaining troubleshooting and optimizing machinery along the production line including blow molders filling machines labelers conveyors and shrink packaging equipment. Additionally the ideal candidate should have indepth knowledge of highpressure compressors particularly Bellis & Morcom or Atelier Franois systems which are critical for the blow molding process. This role requires a technician who can ensure maximum machine uptime and maintain the high standards of operational efficiency.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment including blow molders filling machines labelers conveyors and shrink packaging machines.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic issues across the entire production line.
- Carry out regular inspections and preventive maintenance on highpressure compressors (e.g. Bellis & Morcom Atelier Franois to ensure optimal performance for the blow molding process.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical failures minimizing production downtime.
- Perform machine changeovers calibrations and adjustments to meet various production requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the production team to address equipmentrelated issues and ensure smooth production flow.
- Maintain accurate records of machine maintenance repairs and performance.
- Assist with operator and junior technician training on equipment operation and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.
