Job Description
Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer Automation and DevOps
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer with a strong focus on Automation and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in managing and optimizing infrastructure implementing GitOps workflows administering Kubernetes clusters and ensuring seamless automation of operations. This role demands a solid development background advanced debugging skills and a commitment to high availability scalability and security of systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Management:
- Design implement and manage complex and scalable infrastructure architectures.
- Optimize resource utilization and implement costeffective solutions.
Automation and Kubernetes Administration:
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
- Design deploy and maintain Kubernetes clusters with a focus on security scalability and performance.
- Troubleshoot complex Kubernetes and application issues effectively.
GitOps and CI/CD Implementation:
- Implement and maintain GitOps workflows for infrastructure and application deployment.
- Integrate GitOps practices with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.
- Ensure version control auditability and efficient application configurations.
Networking and Security:
- Design and manage advanced networking solutions in onpremises and cloud environments.
- Configure and maintain secure VPN connections and route tables.
- Implement Kubernetes security best practices and conduct regular security audits.
Monitoring and Observability:
- Design and implement comprehensive monitoring solutions using tools like Prometheus Grafana and ELK stack.
- Set up robust alerting and incident response systems.
- Analyze logs to improve system performance and resolve issues proactively.
Debugging and Troubleshooting:
- Apply advanced debugging techniques to resolve complex infrastructure and application issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and provide longterm solutions to recurring issues.
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
- Maintain detailed documentation for all infrastructure and automation processes.
- Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharing across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in DevOps Site Reliability Engineering or similar roles.
- Strong development background with excellent debugging and problemsolving skills.
- Expertise in Kubernetes administration GitOps practices (e.g. Flux ArgoCD) and CI/CD pipeline tools.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python Go or Bash.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus Grafana and ELK stack.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of MLOps tools such as MLFlow or Kubeflow.
- Familiarity with Rancher and its application in Kubernetes environments.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration and technical discussions.
- Understanding of security best practices for onpremises and cloudbased Kubernetes environments.
