Sales Engineer Wind Oil & Gas Metals remote position based in UK

The company not only has an extensive research and development department but also inhouse testing facilities where new designs and customerspecific material mixtures are further developed.
Headquarters are located in the US with additional locations in Germany and Austria.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for a defined customer base acquiring new customers in the wind metal and oil & gas sectors throughout UK
- Independently develop medium and longterm customer strategies
- Conduct active contract and price negotiations with customers
- Part of customers commercial and technical projects also as project manager if required
- Contact person for complaints etc.
- Responsibility for active observation and the exchange of technical trends
Requirements
- Technical degree in mechanical engineering or plastics technology or a comparable qualification
- Initial experience in the sale of complex technical products or alternatively have experience as a design engineer or application consultant in the technical field
- Strong in implementation customeroriented and a sense of urgency
- Analyze and evaluate complex technical topics
- An appropriate degree of persuasiveness motivation and assertiveness
- Written and spoken German and English language skills
- Willingness to travel
- Good and friendly interaction with colleagues
- Independent responsible and reliable way of working
