We are seeking a Network & Systems Administrator to join us. In this role you will work:
50 with the CTO in Australia to manage and maintain our organizations network infrastructure for Australia / New Zealand
50 with the CIO APAC to manage and maintain the Palo Alto firewalls and the security network for the APAC region with our IT team to manage and maintain our organizations network infrastructure throughout APAC.
To be successful you must be able to:
Oversee the maintenance and management of hardware software networks and other IT systems to ensure high availability and performance.
Manage installation and maintenance of multiple Palo Alto Firewalls throughout the APAC region.
Understand key security principles and monitoring.
Reliably progress IT projects including system upgrades migrations and deployments ensuring timely and successful delivery.
Ensure compliance with organisational and industryspecific security protocols and regulations.
Act as an escalation point for critical technical issues providing guidance and resolution strategies.
Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and provide effective solutions.
Work collaboratively with global infrastructure teams
To thrive youd ideally already have:
Demonstrated experience in an IT support role.
Deep understanding of networking including VLANs firewalls VPNs.
Strong diagnostic and problemsolving skills with experience handling complex technical issues.
Exceptional English communication skills proficient in drafting documentation and articulating difficult technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Proven ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Strong team collaboration skills.
Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
Experience with a cloud platform or SaaS vendor (e.g. AWS Azure Google Workspace)
Knowledge of IT infrastructure including server management virtualisation and storage solutions.
Strong organisational skills and a detailoriented mindset.
