Job Description:
- Design develop and execute test plans for WiFi routers extenders and mesh networking solutions
- Perform WiFi range throughput reliability and roaming performance tests using protocols like 802.11k and 802.11v
- Analyze WiFi extenders for coverage latency and backhaul optimization
- Utilize tools like Wireshark and iperf for network performance analysis
- Stay updated with WiFi6/6E/7 advancements and integrate best practices into test strategies
Qualifications:
- Expertise in 802.11 WiFi standards RF fundamentals and wireless security protocols
- Experience with WiFi routers extenders mesh solutions and band steering
- Skilled in roaming protocols 802.11 KVR) and AP/Extender configuration
- Proficiency in Python shell scripting and WiFi test tools like Veri Wave IXIA Chariot Alethea and Wireshark
- Knowledge of TCP/IP DHCP and RADIUS networking protocols
