Job Description

The Role:

We are seeking a Hardware Embedded Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of embedded systems for advanced applications. The ideal candidate will have experience with firmware and embedded software development as well as handson expertise in debugging hardware. If you are passionate about working with cuttingedge technologies and have a strong background in embedded systems we encourage you to apply.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop implement and optimize firmware for embedded systems.
    • Design and develop lowlevel drivers and applicationlevel firmware.
    • Work with Kyocera or similar printheads in embedded system applications.
    • Utilize unit tests static analysis tools and automated test suites for validation.
    • Ensure adherence to software development best practices including Agile methodologies revision control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins CircleCI).
    • Debug and troubleshoot hardware issues using logic analyzers oscilloscopes and other diagnostic tools.
    • Develop firmware for Ultra Low Power applications.
    • Work with Zephyr RTOS and other embedded RTOS (such as FreeRTOS) for microcontrollerbased applications.
    • Integrate and manage various sensors and communication technologies including BLE and WiFi.
    • Function independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively within a team.


    Requirements:

    Proven experience in developing firmware and embedded software for connected products.

    • Strong knowledge of embedded systems development including experience with Zephyr RTOS and FreeRTOS.
    • Expertise in debugging and hardware bringup using industrystandard tools.
    • Experience working with various sensors and communication protocols.
    • Familiarity with Agile software development version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins CircleCI).
    • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with a high degree of autonomy and collaboration.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in the printing industry or working with printhead technologies.
    • Knowledge of power management techniques for Ultra Low Power applications.
    • Experience with automated testing frameworks and QA methodologies.
