Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer (AI Systems)
Location: Remote/Hybrid
Job Type: FullTime 8:00 AM 5:00 PM)

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer (AI Systems) to design and execute testing strategies for AIdriven systems ensuring they meet the highest standards of functionality reliability and performance for MetaCap projects and clients. This role is essential in delivering robust errorfree AI solutions that align with business objectives and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance and Testing:
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans for AI systems including:
- Functional testing of AI models APIs and integrations.
- Performance testing for scalability and responsiveness.
- Security and compliance validation.
- Regression and usability testing.
- Functional testing of AI models APIs and integrations.
- Identify document and track defects ensuring timely resolution with development teams.
AI Systems Validation:
- Validate AI system outputs (e.g. predictions data processing) against expected results using Key AI Platforms.
- Test system integrations with tools like Zoho One Applications Google Workspace and Microsoft Dynamics.
Test Automation:
- Design and maintain automated testing frameworks to streamline QA processes for AI systems.
- Leverage AI tools and scripting to enhance test efficiency and coverage.
Collaboration and Reporting:
- Work closely with AI engineers data scientists and architects to understand system requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Provide detailed quality reports and metrics to leadership using Microsoft Dynamics or Zoho One highlighting risks and improvements.
Quality Standards Enforcement:
- Ensure AI systems meet MetaCap s quality benchmarks client specifications and industry standards (e.g. ISO GDPR).
- Conduct root cause analysis for defects and recommend preventive measures.
Knowledge Sharing:
- Create and maintain testing documentation guides and training materials using Moodle or Google Workspace.
- Build a centralized repository of test cases results and best practices.
Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor AI system performance postdeployment using analytics tools to identify issues proactively.
- Report on system quality trends and suggest optimization strategies for MetaCap clients.
Technology Exploration:
- Stay updated on emerging QA tools AI testing methodologies and industry trends.
- Recommend innovative testing solutions to enhance quality assurance processes.
- Train team members on QA tools and practices via Moodle or other platforms.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Education: Degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Experience:
- 3 years in quality assurance or software testing with a focus on AI software or complex systems.
- Proven experience in designing and executing test plans for technical projects.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency as a power user of Zoho One Applications Google Workspace Microsoft Dynamics Moodle and Key AI Platforms (e.g. TensorFlow ChatGPT or similar).
- Expertise in test automation tools (e.g. Selenium JUnit Postman) and scripting languages (e.g. Python JavaScript).
- Familiarity with AI concepts (e.g. machine learning APIs data pipelines) and testing frameworks.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure) is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work with technical and nontechnical teams.
- Ability to manage multiple testing projects and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
Benefits
Compensation and Contract Details:
Retainer:
- Flat rate: 60000 KES for managing quality assurance needs for MetaCap projects and clients.
- Hours: Fulltime 8:00 AM 5:00 PM.
- Contract: Initial duration: 3 months renewable based on performance and project demands.
