Head of Science Job Requirements:
- Excellent academic credentials including QTS and at least a 2:1 degree within a Science subject area
- Demonstrate successful teaching of GCSE at good or better level
- Be an exceptional practitioner who has a passion for Sciences and a proven track record of raising student achievement
- Be an outstanding teacher able to teach at least one of the Science subject areas effectively to ALevel
- Have the drive and ability to raise the profile of Science within and outside school
- Lead the department effectively to further sustained success
- Be ambitious for themselves the department and the wider school
