About the Role
An Outstanding secondary school in Barnet requires a passionate Music Teacher to join their performing arts department from September. The role involves teaching music theory and practical skills directing school performances and developing students musical talents. We are looking for a skilled Music Teacher to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging music theory and practical skills lessons.
- Direct and produce school music performances and concerts.
- Develop students musical talents and appreciation.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of the music curriculum. We require a Music Teacher who can perform these tasks.
- Organise and lead extracurricular music activities such as choirs and bands.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Music.
- Proven experience in teaching Music at secondary level.
- Strong musical skills and passion for music education.
- Excellent communication and performance skills. We need an experienced Music Teacher for this position.
