Job Description
Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Business Teacher looking for a new challenge A wellestablished school in Birmingham is seeking a dynamic and passionate Business Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This fulltime permanent role offers an excellent opportunity to teach Business at KS4and KS5 with the added benefit of a Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR) for a candidate with leadership aspirations.
About the Role:
- Position: Business Teacher (with TLR opportunity)
- Location: Birmingham
- Start Date: September 2025
- Contract Type: Fulltime Permanent
- Teaching Level: KS4 and KS5 (GCSE and ALevel)
- Additional Responsibilities: The TLR opportunity allows for involvement in leadership responsibilities within the Business Department including curriculum development student progress monitoring and departmental collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Business lessons to KS4 and KS5 students.
- Support students in achieving excellent exam results in Business at both GCSE and ALevel.
- Develop and update teaching materials and resources for the Business curriculum.
- Encourage students to understand and apply key business concepts preparing them for further study and career opportunities.
- Work closely with other teachers to share best practices and support the continuous development of the Business Department.

Qualifications & Experience:
- A degree in Business Economics or a related field.
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Business at KS4 and KS5 is essential.
- Previous leadership or TLR experience is desirable but not required.
