Complex Business Litigation Attorney



Career Consulting Partners has partnered with an AM Law 100 firm that represents clients at the forefront of technological advancements ranging from aviation to artificial intelligence and possesses a thorough understanding of their industries and evolving needs. With 21 offices across the United States Asia and Europe and a global network of legal partners we are searching for a mid to seniorlevel attorney with a background in complex business litigation.


DEPARTMENT INSIGHT:

Our clients Business Advice & Litigation Department helps businesses proactively manage risks resolve disputes and navigate litigation. They draft strong contracts provide legal training and handle early dispute resolution including internal investigations. The firm represents clients at all litigation stages from predispute assessments to trial and appeals managing discovery emergency legal actions and witness preparation. They also assist nonparties in responding to subpoenas and navigating thirdparty litigation. With deep expertise in domestic and international arbitration the firm enforces arbitration clauses and challenges unfavorable awards ensuring the best outcomes for clients.


ABOUT THE ROLE:

As part of the firms nationally recognized Commercial Litigation Practice you will represent clients in federal and state court proceedings arbitrations and other dispute resolution forums.You will handle a wide range of litigation matters including contract disputes business torts securities litigation and other highstakes commercial conflicts.The firm fosters a collegial teamoriented environment where associates collaborate closely with experienced litigators at both the local and national levels.



REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in complex commercial litigation
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Prior judicial clerkship experience is preferred
  • At least two years of experience at a law firm handling sophisticated litigation matters
  • Strong written and oral advocacy skills
  • Experience managing largescale litigation including discovery motions practice depositions and trial preparation
  • Active California Bar admission required
