Job Description
.
Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products in a highvolume production environment
.
Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
.
Input data for new items and collaborate with appropriate departments prior to production
.
Manage inventory levels and adjust production based on demand with short lead times
.
Determine manpower equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand
.
Schedule shift according to production needs
.
Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
.
Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
.
Obtain output information (number of finished products percentage of defectives etc.
.
Keep paperwork organized
.
Collaborate with quality control warehouse and other staff
.
Actively participate in production meetings and relay information between departments
Requirements
.
Proven experience as production planner
.
Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
.
Experience in SAP
.
Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
.
Intermediate math skills
.
Strong organizational and problemsolving skills
.
Excellent communication written and verbal
.
High school diploma; Further education or certification is preferred
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Production planning: 5 years (Required)
- Manufacturing: 5 years (Required)
