Tasks
As a Solutions Engineer youll be the technical bridge between our product and our users. Youll work closely with customers developers and our internal product and engineering teams to ensure seamless adoption and integration of Qdrant into realworld AI applications. Whether helping a startup scale its recommendation engine or guiding a Fortune 500 company through a proofofconcept youll bring expertise clarity and confidence to every interaction.
What Youll Do
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers during presales onboarding and postsales engagements.
- Understand client requirements and design tailored solutions using Qdrant and adjacent tools in the AI/data ecosystem.
- Build technical demos PoCs and reference architectures.
- Assist with performance tuning deployment strategies and integration best practices.
- Provide feedback to the product and engineering teams to help shape Qdrants roadmap.
- Contribute to technical documentation tutorials and community support channels.
- Represent Qdrant at meetups webinars and conferences as a subject matter expert.
Requirements
What Were Looking For
- 3 years of experience in a Solutions Engineering Developer Advocate or similar customerfacing technical role.
- Strong understanding of vector search similarity search and machine learning workflows.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with common AI/ML libraries (e.g. Hugging Face Faiss PyTorch TensorFlow).
- Experience working with databases (SQL NoSQL) and cloudnative environments (Docker Kubernetes cloud services).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Passion for opensource software and engaging with developer communities.
