Job Description

As a key staff report to Shenzhen Site GM you will play a pivotal role in driving project success enhancing employee engagement and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

 

Project Coordination

  1. Collaborate with cross functional teams across different global locations to develop comprehensive project plans. Utilize your STEM background to understand technical requirements set realistic timelines and allocate resources effectively.
  2. Oversee the day to day of projects ensuring that milestones are met. Proactively identify potential bottlenecks and risks and develop contingency plans to keep projects on track.
  3. Serve as the primary liaison between the Shenzhen site and other global teams involved in projects. Communicate project progress challenges and updates clearly and regularly to all stakeholders including senior management in both written and verbal form.
  4. Use your excellent English skills to facilitate smooth communication with international colleagues ensuring that cultural differences are understood and bridged. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to gain support for project initiatives.

 Employee Engagement

  1. Develop and implement employee engagement strategies tailored to the Shenzhen site taking into account the companys global culture and local nuances. Leverage data driven insights to design initiatives that resonate with employees and boost morale.
  2. Collaborate with the global team to align local engagement efforts with the companys overall employee engagement goals.
  3. Event Planning and
  4. Organize and execute a variety of employee engagement events such as team building activities cultural festivals and wellness programs. These events should promote a positive work environment strengthen team bonds and enhance employee satisfaction.

Employee Feedback and Improvement

Establish channels for employees to provide feedback on their work experience such as surveys town hall meetings and one on one discussions. Analyze this feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement action plans to address employee concerns.

Training and Development

  1. Conduct regular training needs assessments for employees at the Shenzhen site. Identify skill gaps based on current and future business requirements using your STEM background to understand technical training needs.
  2. Coordinate with external training providers when necessary to ensure access to specialized training resources.
  3. Follow up with employees after training to ensure that they are applying their newly acquired skills in the workplace and to provide additional support if needed.

 


    Qualifications :

    Qualifications

    1. Bachelors degree or higher in a STEM related field (e.g. Engineering Computer Science Mathematics Physics). A masters degree is a plus.
    2. Fluent in English both written and spoken. Ability to communicate effectively in international business settings including presenting in English to global audiences.
    3. Proficient in creating high quality PowerPoint presentations. Ability to use data visualization techniques to effectively communicate complex information.
    4. Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. Jira Asana) and learning management systems (e.g. Moodle Canvas) is preferred.
    5. Five years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record in project management. Experience in the tech industry is highly desirable.

    1. Strong leadership and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a global team.
    2.  Excellent problem solving and decision making skills. Adaptable to changing business needs and able to thrive in a fast paced environment.
    3. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
