Job Description
We are looking for a passionate Full Stack iOS Software Engineer to work for our New York based client. For this role we only process candidates that are based in the Philippines and have legal authorization to work in the Philippines.

About the role
Were looking for a strong Full Stack Engineer to join our team. If your aspiration is to become a VP of Engineering one day wed like to help you get there. If youd rather stay headsdown building products for the foreseeable future great. Either way the latter will be your primary focus in the near term.
We are an investing app for Gen Z. Were a Y Combinatorbacked startup and have raised over $5.5M in our seed round from top investors including Goodwater Capital F7 Ventures GFR and Worklife Ventures. We are seeking a talented engineer to work directly with the founding team to develop and implement our iOS app. We want an ambitious fastmoving and creative individual who is passionate about addressing customer needs to build the best investing experience for the next generation.
This may not be the right role for you if you are uncomfortable with any of the following:
- Trying to anticipate and predict customer needs on your own.
- Working across different parts of the stack.
- Being pushed to constantly learn new skill sets.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with the founders and lead designer to define the product roadmap reporting directly to the CTO.
- Help shape and implement the overall product roadmap.
- Write clean performant productionlevel code with rigorous unit tests.
- Primarily focus on frontend development using SwiftUI with the flexibility to assist with backend tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- 3 years of fullstack software development experience.
- Excellent communication skills are essential.
- Strong grounding in CS fundamentals you have the broadbased knowledge needed to build a collaborative clientserver application end to end. Youre eager to pick up new platforms and skills along the way and you find that process enjoyable.
- A passion for delivering delightful polished frontends. You dont need to be a designer but you enjoy collaborating with designers and appreciate the effort that goes into achieving polish and delight.
- Interest in product strategy a desire to collaborate alignment with our values and a good sense of humor. Youre comfortable giving and receiving respectful constructive feedback.
- Experience working at small startups (preferred but not required).
