The role

General summary

Clifford Chance US LLP is seeking a temptoperm full time Legal Recruitment Coordinator who will assist with the full endtoend recruitment process for Partner and associate hiring in the Americas region. This person will deliver an effective and efficient recruitment service by partnering with the business to meet its resource needs to deliver the highest standard of expertise to their clients. The role will be responsible for driving the sourcing strategy building talent pipelines designing recruitment campaigns reviewing and shortlisting candidates interviewing managing offers and providing candidate feedback and evaluation of the recruitment process. This position will be based in New York and will report to the Senior Lateral Partner Recruitment Manager US.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with developing and delivering the strategic objectives of the Recruitment team in accordance with the HR and Firm strategies.
  • Work closely with Senior Lateral Partner Recruiting Manager in addition to other lateral recruitment specialists in the network.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Firm leadership management sponsor Partners and senior lawyers across the Firm with a strong attention to client service.
  • Assist with the endtoend recruitment process and recruitment lifecycle for lateral hires for applicable internal client groups while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Deliver innovative and creative recruitment solutions to hiring partners to meet strategic objectives.
  • Provide best practices guidance while coaching hiring Partners in the attraction assessment and candidate management process within an extremely competitive market.
  • Assess the efficiency and effectiveness of the teams process making enhancements and improvements as needed.
  • Stay abreast of changes in all areas related to the legal industry employment law and recruitment.
  • Monitor and track recruitment metrics including but not limited to tracking lateral submissions and spending while reporting metrics to the team.
  • Respond to a range of recruitment inquiries and carry out more complex procedures.
  • Manage thirdparty relationships with recruitment agencies and headhunters.
  • Provide coverage for other team members as needed.
  • Perform other jobrelated duties and projects as assigned.

 


Qualifications :

Your experience

  • 12 years of legal recruiting experience in a law firm preferred.
  • Bachelors Degree strongly preferred; High School Diploma or GED required. 
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize competing demands to meet deadlines.
  • Must have strong attention to detail with a deep commitment to client service.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team dynamic.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fastpaced and growing environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Facility in making effective decisions using sound judgment.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and maintain strong internal working relationships.
  • Excellent organizational and client service skills.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and various applicant tracking systems.
  • Ability to work outside the core business hours as needed.
  • Must be able to adhere and comply with the Firms Agile Working Policy which requires employees to work from the office at least three days each calendar week.
  • Must be independently authorized to work in the United States.

Clifford Chance US LLP offers a comprehensive benefits and compensation package. The salary range for this role is $60000 $70000. Actual salary will be commensurate with the candidates qualifications and relevant experience.
