Job Description
As the Regulatory Senior Test Engineer with a strong background in RF/EMC testing you will work within the RF/ EMC department performing compliance testing and certifications.

- Competently setup and perform EMC and RF tests including operation of test equipment calibration in accordance with Regulatory Standards and requirements
- Conduct commercial emissions and immunity testing per the applicable requirements
- Provide technical leadership for the lab
- Experience and knowledge in setting up a Radiated chamber System for PTCRB RSE testing
- Check technical records perform data analysis and review laboratory reports.
- Create client deliverables in the form of test reports letter reports and certification reports
- Routine operation maintenance maintain calibration qualification and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment and instruments
- Lead the development writing review and validation of test methods laboratory SOPs and other departmentlevel operating and quality documents
- Lead investigation of response to and followup of client inquiries and complaints
- Coordinate with laboratory engineers technicians and/or assistants on sample receiving logging pretreatment preparation testing and other tasks
- Conduct multiple projects within tight deadlines
- Collaborate with sales teams account managers and interface with clients.
- Train and mentor others
- Implement globally harmonized methods from other SGS C&P laboratories.
- Adheres to internal standards policies and procedures
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required
Qualifications :
- Bachelors in Engineering or related STEM discipline
- 47 years of relevant engineering testing experience
- Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering (Preferred)
- Expert and handson knowledge of ANSI C63.10; ANSI C63.26; EN 300 328; EN 301 893; ETSI EN; EN/IEC
- Expert and demonstrable knowledge using test equipment such as EMI Receivers Spectrum Analyzers Anechoic Chambers Antennas etc.
- Knowledge of compliance testing of products including but not limited to 2G/3G/4G/5G WiFi Bluetooth radios
- Direct/Handson regulatory compliance experience is mandatory
- Knowledge of EMC regulations techniques laws and accreditation standards for North America Europe etc. is required
- High level of written and verbal English
- Able to travel an average of 5 including travel outside the US
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills good team spirit and adaptability
- Foster interdepartmental teamwork and be able to work across multiple cultures
- Work independently and with limited supervision
- Ability to maintain a serviceoriented mindset
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
