Storekeeper

Under the authority of the inventory manager the storekeeper will be responsible for the daily management of the store. He will be responsible for placing materials and equipment in the store ensuring a balanced inventory and communicating with the relevant individuals.

• Ensure the maintenance and accuracy of the inventory.

• Receive goods code them and direct them to the correct locations.

• Maintain uptodate documents and databases.

• Enter data for work orders requisitions and material receipt.

• Maintain order and cleanliness at all times.

Qualifications :

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in inventory management or warehouse management is a plus.

• Experience: Previous experience in inventory management inventory control or warehouse management preferably in an industrial setting.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g. SAP Oracle) and warehouse equipment (forklift certification is preferred).

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 22 kg) and work in an industrial environment.

• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent organizational communication and problemsolving skills; attention to detail.

• Health and Safety Knowledge: Understanding of relevant health and safety regulations in an industrial setting.
