Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable (AP) Manager to oversee and manage the accounts payable function. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting strong leadership skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. This role requires a CPA with a proven track record of managing AP processes in a fastpaced environment.
- Oversee the entire accounts payable process ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing approvals and payments.
- Manage and mentor the AP team to ensure adherence to company policies and financial controls
- Develop and implement AP policies procedures and best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Monitor cash flow related to accounts payable activities and ensure optimal working capital management.
- Review and reconcile AP accounts to ensure completeness and accuracy of records.
- Manage vendor relationships ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies and disputes.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations including withholding tax VAT and other applicable requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and support financial reporting requirements.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to generate reports analyze AP data and identify costsaving opportunities.
- Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
Requirements
- Must be a CPA
- 710 years of experience in accounting with 35 years in a managerial role overseeing accounts payable.
- Strong knowledge of AP processes accounting principles and internal controls.
- Advanced Excel skills including functions such as VLOOKUP Pivot Tables and complex formulas.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a highperforming team.
- Strong problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience working in retail manufacturing or similar industries is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Advanced Excel skills, including functions such as VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and complex formulas. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing team. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Experience working in retail, manufacturing, or similar industries is a plus.
