Job Summary:
The Trade Finance Specialist (Funded Open Accounts) is responsible for managing working capital financing supplier financing invoice discounting and export/import financing. The role involves structuring trade finance solutions ensuring timely fund disbursement and mitigating credit risks while complying with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Processing & Managing Funded Trade Finance Facilities Handle preshipment and postshipment financing invoice financing supplier financing and factoring.
Credit & Risk Assessment Evaluate borrower creditworthiness and trade transaction risks.
Transaction & Monitoring Ensure timely fund disbursement repayment tracking and reconciliation.
Client & Counterparty Coordination Work with exporters importers banks and financial institutions.
Regulatory Compliance Adhere to AML KYC FEMA UCP 600 and Basel guidelines.
Process Optimization Improve trade finance workflows and automation.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Expertise in invoice financing supplier credit and working capital loans
Strong knowledge of UCP 600 ISBP trade credit insurance and regulatory compliance
Risk assessment and financial analysis skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management
Proficiency in SWIFT trade finance platforms and Excel
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Bachelors/Master s in Finance Banking or related field
Experience: 3 years in funded trade finance corporate banking or lending
Certifications: CFA CDCS or Trade Finance Certifications preferred
