Job Description

1. Sustainable Supply Chain & Human Rights Due Diligence

  • Implement and monitor compliance with the German LkSG EU CSDDD and international human rights frameworks (e.g. UNGPs OECD Guidelines).
  • Conduct human rights risk assessments across the supply chain identifying risks related to labor rights modern slavery fair wages and environmental impacts.
  • Work with procurement and compliance teams to integrate human rights and environmental due diligence (HREDD) into supplier selection audits and contracts.
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans for noncompliant suppliers ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Support supplier capacitybuilding programs including training on human rights standards and ethical business practices.

2. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) & Social Impact Develop and oversee CSR strategies and budgets ensuring alignment with corporate values sustainability goals and stakeholder expectations.

  • Manage and evaluate CSR projects including community development programs charitable contributions and partnerships with NGOs.
  • Ensure that CSR initiatives contribute to social impact diversity & inclusion (DE&I) and sustainable development.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate CSR into broader sustainability and business strategies.

3. Compliance & Sustainability Reporting

  • Collect and analyze data for human rights and CSR reporting ensuring transparency and compliance with EU CSRD EU Taxonomy GRI UN Global Compact and other frameworks.
  • Support the preparation of sustainability reports human rights statements and disclosures for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor emerging regulations and industry trends advising leadership on implications and best practices.
  • Develop internal training on human rights and sustainable supply chain standards for employees and suppliers.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in a related field (e.g. Law Human Rights Sustainability Social Sciences or a related field.
  • 35 years of experience in human rights due diligence supply chain compliance sustainability or CSR.
  • Knowledge of LkSG CSDDD EU Taxonomy UNGPs OECD Guidelines ILO Standards and sustainability frameworks as they are evolving. Experience with risk assessments supplier audits and sustainability reporting. Strong stakeholder engagement skills with experience working across legal procurement ESG and compliance teams. Analytical mindset and ability to interpret complex regulations and business impacts. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to engage with internal teams and external partners.
  • Human Rights Officer certification for LkSG
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory both written and verbal. Additional German or other European languages are a plus
