Job Description
We are seeking a general cleaner to work in our manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the facility. As a General Cleaner you will be responsible for:
- Cleaning lint dust oil and grease from machines overhead pipes and other production equipment
- Cleaning floors with an electric floor scrubber and applying floor drier. Dust mopping and wet mopping floor areas
- Picking up reusable s for salvage and storing in containers
- Cleaning rooms hallways corridors locker rooms and other work areas
- Washing windows door panels and sills
- Emptying wastebaskets in breakrooms lab office and production areas. Placing trash and waste in waste compactor
- Picking up refuse from plant grounds and maintaining area by cutting grass or shoveling snow if necessary
Qualifications :
To perform your job as expected you will be required to:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous cleaning experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
- Excellent organizational skills
- Be highly responsible and reliable
- Be capable of completing multiple tasks
- Maintain good attendance
