Job Description
HVAC Controls Journeyman Electrician
FLSA Classification: NonExempt
Work Hours: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM Monday Friday
Location: Connecticut
Employment Type: FullTime
Overtime: Occasional
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Controls Journeyman Electrician to join our team. This role involves electrical installations troubleshooting and maintenance of HVAC control systems in commercial industrial and residential settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of blueprints electrical codes and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints mechanical architectural and electrical drawings to determine wiring layouts.

Install and run conduit wire devices and perform quality control testing.

Troubleshoot electrical issues conduct tests and replace damaged wiring as needed.

Ensure compliance with all applicable codes standards and safety regulations.

Adhere to safety protocols including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
-
HVAC Controls experience required.

Valid Electrical License: Electrical Masters or E2 Journeyman License.

Valid Drivers License.

OSHA Certification: Connecticut OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 card required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook PowerPoint) preferred.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
